The Investment Guide to Georgia is produced by the American Chamber of Commerce in Georgia (AmCham) and the EU Georgia Business Council (EUGBC). AmCham and the EUGBC seek promote the development of commercial relations between Georgia, the United States of America and the EU. This Guide responds to the need for a credible source of timely relevant information on the business and investment climate in Georgia to meet the heightened interest by potential investors worldwide.
Before this Guide, potential investors expended undue amounts of time and resources to make a trip to Georgia and to meet up to 10 different organizations and/or government agencies to try to understand the overall investment climate and to find reliable sources for credible investment information. This Guide is a door to reliable and timely information about Georgia’s businesses and investment climate, and will be updated quarterly.
In order to make this Guide as useful and credible as possible to potential investors we consulted with AMCHAM and EUGBC members and a broad range of public and private stakeholders to identify just what a Guide like this should include. This Guide is the first of its kind, not only because of its online, updateable format, but also because it has been developed by businesspeople for businesspeople - giving it increased credibility and usefulness.
