Methodology A SWOT analysis of Georgia as an Investment Environment was conducted in September 2005 by a diverse group of economic development stakeholders and again in November 2007 by AMCHAM and EUGBC members. The 2005 analysis was carried out in two steps: 1) the lists of factors either supportive or detrimental to the investment climate in Georgia and its improvement were drawn up during 2 brainstorming sessions; 2) the factors were scored according to their relevance to current Georgian realities. In 2007, AMCHAM and EUGBC members scored the same factors. The 2005 and 2007 SWOT analysis results are presented in a comparitive graphical format.
